CARB on May 30 declined a request to initiate rulemaking proceedings that would require all dairies within California to adopt some form of methane mitigation and adopt enteric emissions reduction measures.
The Transport Project and Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas have announced that California fleets fueled with bio-CNG achieved carbon-negativity in their transportation operations last calendar year for the fourth straight year.
The U.S. Treasury Department and IRS on May 29 released proposed guidance on two clean electricity tax credits created by the IRA. The proposal, however, fails to provide appropriate guidance for clean electricity produced from biogas and RNG.
